Wax On Wax Off

Joe did it! He waxed off all of his nose hair. I know you wish you were there so here is how it happened.

Step 1: Place towel thing on mustache because you don't want those bad boys coming off with the nose hairs!

Step 2: Have Bre get wax into ball and place up nose.

Step 3: Let those bad boys harden right in his nose.

Step 4: Pull those suckas out with hair and all!

Unfortunately I didn't get a picture of Joe sneezing right on Bre before she pulled, which left all sorts of goodness on the other end of the wax ball. Thanks to Bre, Joe is now breathing fresh air and his little straggly brown friends are no longer peeking out to say hello.

Ever since Marriott has stopped paying me to blog or do homework I find it a lot more difficult to do both. Homework and school consume my life so blogging as been a little slow...sorry.

The past 3 out of 4 weekends Joe and I have been to St. George Oh how I love St. George! It is such a nice little break from everyday life with school and work. It's not very far away and it is always nice weather. We don't do much there but swim and Joe golfs. It's not like going to the beach every weekend but it is so great. I forget about what I need to do for the next week and give my brain a little rest. Even though coming back on Sunday night gets me a little worried for Monday's work load, but it's always worth it.

This weekend we went down with 2 other couples and I loved it. I wasn't the only girl and I like the other girls which is always a plus. It works for both Joe and I, he can go golfing and play games and I can have girl talk and lay out. For Easter we made a Sunday brunch with fruit and German pancakes. Carly and Wattsie left early before we got back from church so Carly hid the eggs we decorated from the previous night for a little Easter egg hunt. It was really fun to come home from church and search for eggs like I was 5 again. I of course won, which seemed to be the theme of the weekend. I got 1st in hearts, ticket to ride and Easter egg hunt! I am the best and have the best victory dance and song.

We are slowly getting back into vacations, since we took a little time off of vacations. We have a cruise booked for January and hopefully one in October too! I think Joe just plans vacations later and later so we can't get pregnant. I don't think cruising would be very fun being pregnant.

Stupidest Loser

Ok I love the Biggest Loser, but the blue team has got to be the stupidest people. First they vote off Dane, who is the strongest player. Without Dane there is no way they can beat the black team. Then this week they vote off Mandi, the next biggest competitor next to Dane. They are making their team so weak. And stupid Ron who opens his mouth every time should have gone home weeks ago. The blue team is just going to get destroyed by the black team and I don't feel bad for them whatsoever. Instead of Cathy, Kristin and Ron having an alliance they should focus more on making their team strong then just kicking off any chance they have to win. Stupid Stupid People.

2 for 1???

SO this is only funny now looking back but while happened felt not that smart. SO Joe the other week comes home and says hey I have a 2 for $25 to Log Haven ( which is some nice restaurant up the canyon). It was a steak and lobster dinner so I was like sweet lets do it! Now Joe has read the coupon, I have read it we have both called to make sure it was legit and all signs were a go. SO we go up there Friday night and are all excited to spend only $25 for both of us on steak and lobster. Well the deal was on the menu, so I thought that was kinda weird so after we order I go ahead and take a looksie at the coupon again. It says 2 courses for $25 not 2 people for $25. WHAT THE... dang we were already stuck there because we ordered and we can't understand how we missed understood that. Not only us but several people read the coupon and everyone thought the same thing. We even had 2 coupons and invited some friends( good thing they didn't come because I don't think they would be to happy thinking they were only go to spend 25 and now they are spending 50). Moral of the story is doesn't matter how many times you read something, you read what you want to see.

What is this?

I was online and stumbled across this thing called blo..blog...blogger. I think I used to blog at one point but these days I don't have time to sit and type. You'd think being out of work I got nothing but time, luckily school feels that void of having relaxing down time and leaves me with time to only eat and sleep. Last week I did a pretty good job on getting stuff down for this week so here I am blogging about random thoughts I have had lately.

1. Remember these cool cars you may have had when you were a kid. Well one of my classes at the

U is working in the preschool. Well we went on a field trip to the kids museum and it was pretty cool. Well They had these cars there and I can't believe how small they are. I think the cars have gotten smaller because I don't even think I could fit my foot in it. When I was a kid it was like I had all sorts of room and in fact I'm pretty sure 2 kids could fit in one. Either kids are just tiny tiny these days or the toys are getting smaller because there is no way I could even imagine getting into that when I was 4.





2. We really need a vacation. I would really love to go back to DC. I know we went twice last year, but I love that city. Plus being on the tracks every day reminds me how much I want to be there and listen to the pleasant noise of the metro.



3. I really do have a great husband. The other week our heater went out and I was freezing.

Anybody that knows me I am cold no matter what! Even though the weather hasn't been too cold I would still huddle up by a little space heater and a blanket. Well Joe did fix the heater which was awesome but before it was fixed he left me hot chocolate. I love 7-11 hot chocolate and it was agreat surprise to come home to something warm. Luckily I didn't go to school that day so it wasn't sitting out all day. I left for the gym and when I got back I had some hot chocolate waiting for me. He really is a much better husband than I am wife.

5. I am really really happy it is getting warm outside. Besides the little surprises from Joe, arm weather is probably the best thing that has happened in a long time. I am still sickly white but just the feeling of the sun outside gives me hope!

Words of Wisdom at the U

So I just had to write this down and share the intelligent people I go to school with. While sitting in the halls I heard this conversation go on:

(I'll only write the boy's part because the girl part doesn't really matter).
Boy: You should just cheat on your test
Girl: Yadda Yadda Yadda
Boy: I've cheated on every undergraduate test I have ever taken.
Girl Yadda Yadda Yadda
Boy: I'm just going to school so people don't think I am a bum. I don't want to work but because I am in school that's ok that I'm not working and this way I'm still giving to society.
Girl: Yadda Yadda Yadda
Boy: I'm only going to work if I can go in at 9 or later and if I never see my boss. If I ever see my boss I'll just quit.

Brush, Rinse, Repeat

I should be at the Jazz game but I thought I'd do the responsible thing and stay home and do homework. So I started to do homework but then it lead me to thinking that I haven't updated in a while, so that's why I'm here. My life has become repetitive and I might go crazy. I was looking at my planner and every day there is the same things to do: class, homework, gym, scriptures and repeat. I wish I had something new to do each day but when something new does get thrown into the mix I have homework that blocks it. I have never had this much schooling and I want to cry everyday, I want to quit everyday. I only have 1 more semester after this and then I am done but sometimes I don't want to even finish, my life has become boring. We don't even vacation anymore because of how much schooling I have and since I don't have a job that leaves us broke after our bills are paid for the month.

And then days that I want to give up ( everyday) I think that even though this sucks right now, I'm pretty lucky to even go to school. Instead of bitching I should just suck it up and be grateful. Everyday I try to start off grateful and then somewhere in the day it gets lost. I'll just have to try again tomorrow, maybe throwing some gratitude in the day might mix up my routine.
