Sleepness Nights= Tiredsome Days

Recently I have just been tired all day long. No matter how much sleep I get I am just tired, even if I get a nap in I'm still tired. But last night just topped it all. Our little home is just so hot! Usually we keep the air on during the day then when the sun goes down we open up the windows and turn the air off, which works just fine until the sun comes up again in the morning. But last night was just a combination of bad things which equals no sleep. It started with Joe jumping out of bed at probably around 3 running into the office and walking back to our room. I thought it was an earthquake. Our whole bed shook. When I asked him what he was doing he said he was finishing the play... What? I had no idea what he was talking about, which in his sleep I never know what he is talking about considering the other night he said that girls are weak " in his sleep". So I asked him again are you sure that wasn't an earthquake and he just said don't worry about it. So of course I worry and am thinking that it maybe an earthquake and I was just picturing our ceiling coming down on us. So that didn't help my sleep and then it got really cold because I had the fan and air on so I turned everything off which led me to waking up an hour later and turning everything back on again because I was so hot. So here I am today tired once again tired but I think this time I have a legit excuse.

High School Reunion

Well last Monday I got an e-mail from my friend Kathleen saying that everyone is getting together Friday night because Becky is moving to Portland for the summer. Well I haven't seen every one (besides Jacque) since my wedding and I really wanted to go. So I looked and looked for plane tickets and they were just to expensive. Well I came home last Wednesday night after work and Joe said he had a surprise for me on the table. He bought me plane tickets to go see my family and friends and I was so excited I called all my friends. I flew out Thursday and got back Monday, which I was a little sad about because that's 4 nights without Joe and I have never done that before, but I made it.

Friday night I got together with my closes girlfriends from high school and went out to dinner ( picture soon to be updated). It was so much fun sitting and talking about the good old days, and about today. It was like we never skipped a beat. I miss all my friends from California, it's like we were all meant to be(that sounds a little weird, but seriously it's true). We have never fought with each other, we are different but all fit together so well. I really wish they would just move to Utah because it doesn't look like we're moving any time soon.

Besides being with my friends I got to spend some time with the parents. It wouldn't be a complete trip without seeing a movie, my dad loves going to movies and it has rubbed off on me. We went and saw Get Smart which I recommend because it was pretty funny. My mom and I got some of the worst pedicures ever. Not the paint job but the experience. My mom had to wait for like 1/2 hour and we didn't even get our feet massaged. They just slapped some lotion on our legs and sent us on our way. Needless to say they most like talked about us, in Veitmenses of course. I love spending some time with the family too.

Even though I felt sad about leaving Joe for so long I think he was quite alright with it since his days were full of golfing every day I was gone and lots of Euro cup.

TAG... You're it

How To Play This Game of Tag:
Post these rules on your blog.List: 3 joys, 3 fears, 3 goals, 3 current obsessions/collections, 3 random surprising facts about yourself. Tag 5 people at the end of your post by leaving their names. Let them know they are tagged by leaving a comment on their blog!

3 Joys
1. My husband- Joe is the most thoughtful, funny, caring guy ever. I love him with all my heart and that's truth
2. My Family- I love my parents and siblings and my nieces and nephew. Those 3 kids have got to be 3 of my most favorite people ever
3. Milk Chocolate Chocolate Chips- the best snack/food ever invented

3 Fears
1. Gaining too much weight and being around certain people who clearly look at being skinny as beautiful
2. Losing Joe- I wouldn't know what to do with myself if something happened.
3. Never being able to eat milk chocolate chocolate chips ever again... like if something happened to chocolate like it did spinach but never came back! Actually I change that to my number 1 fear.

3 obsessions/ collections
1. I'm obsessed with the way my pillows and seat cushions sit on my couch. They drive me crazy because sometimes they are half falling off and looks like the fabric is wrinkly and woren. As soon as someone gets off I fix them sometimes even when people are still sitting I fix the pillows. It drives me crazy!
2. New obsession this summer is reading. My dad always wanted us to have a book for the summer time to read while growing up. I wasn't to good with that but I know love them. Once I start one book I think about the next one I am going to get.
3. This may be a shocker but I'm going to stay with the M.C. ( that's milk chocolate chocolate chips, I have a feeling I'm going to write it out a lot so I minus well abbreviate it).

3 Goals
1.To keep Joe happy everyday for the rest of eternity. And if that means watching Euro cup or golfing with him or just being there for a kiss then I'm there 100% of the time.

2. To finish school. I have 3 semesters left and it is really hard to do school and work full time and then go home and play wife all with a positive attitude.
3. To be a much better cook. I don't cook so I try to do new meals at least twice a week so I can get some experience. I am not the best but hopefully one day I'll get there.

3 random/surprising facts about myself
1. I love watching the Jazz play and watching Joe play soccer. I have been sucked into this world of sports and I love it. I love that we can play and watch sports together. Whenever I watch Joe play indoor soccer I get sort of an anxiety attack and am super into the games the whole way through. Especially with indoor soccer it's so intense that I think I just get kinda nervous the whole game and don't want any one to get hurt. But as soon as Joe does a tricky move or scores a goal I'm like ...Yup that's right that's my husband!
2. I love the sun. I love the way my body feels when I'm getting burned and just sitting in the sun. When the sun is out it's a good day and nothing seems to go wrong. To bad there isn't sun all year long in Utah.
3. I have to say I really love M.C. there is just no way around it. May not be surprising but what is surprising is that I go grocery shopping by myself and walk past the chocolate chip isle every time and I don't by them. I don't even know why I walk by it, there is no reason but I do it anyways. This is for sure testing my well power and I'm pretty sure I'm the strongest person ever thanks to those M.C.

Keep on rollin'

So recently I haven't been the best at posting but it's only because we don't have Internet at our house. Well it only took us a year to get cable with some tivo I think Internet is our next thing. Maybe in another year. That's how we do things in the Coccimiglio household, 1 year at a time.
Last Friday the Coccimiglio girl's has a night out and it was so much fun. I have decided I have the funniest sister-in-laws ever and it was hours of non stop laughing. We went to dinner and then got some ice cream and then stayed downtown at a hotel. Who knew how conversations can start in one place and ended in a completely different one. Sorry girls for the 5 o'clock scream due to a charlie horse. It was pretty funny though that Bre thought I was just having a bad dream and tried waking me up even though I was already awake and squeezing my leg for the life of me.
Totally change of topic but I have been thinking a lot about this, this week. So recently I have been trying to eat a lot healthier and exercise more thanks to the reality check from the St. George trip. The only problem is I still have one thing on my mind and it's all Joe's fault. Milk chocolate chocolate chips! They really are the best thing ever and I know I have a problem. I always bought the semi sweet and then I had Joe pick some up one day and he brought home the milk chocolate ones. I literally ate a whole bag one day. You'd think they would be a good treat because you just get a little hand full and thats it...WRONG once they hit the lips they're so good I can't stop. I even asked Joe I think on Monday just to buy me a bag and then he could hide them and that way I could only have 1 hand full a night. He wouldn't budge. I guess that's a good thing though because I think I could gain some unwanted weight thanks to chocolate chips.

Let the good times roll

Last weekend Joe and I went down to St. George for a couple of days. A few things I have decided about St. George... 1. it's a great place for mini vacations because it's not a long drive and has great weather 2. The sun in St. George is not the same sun for the rest of the planet and 3. If I were to be reincarnated after I died I would be a snake because I have never peeled this bad before, pretty sure I have all new skin now.

Over all though it was good to get in the sun and relax by the pool. We went boating a couple of days and on a awesome hike through some water and canyons. Well it was awesome until about the 2nd waterfall I could have done with out that.

*Joe and I entering the canyon

* Classic talking during the picture

* I have never seen so many guys in a kitchen at once, this is the Thurm pancake, you think that's good you should have seen the zebra on a water wienie.

* Water wienie wars and yup Joe is still on there, you see that butt... it's his

* Pretty sure Joe's loves goes 1. Puerto Rico 2. Buker Baker 3. Tori ( or 1&2 could switch depending on the day)

* Water slide on the hike, not very deep at the end though.

* Guiseppe rippin' it up

Take 2

So every since my cousin did her wedding pictures in water I have been wanting to do it. The only problem Joe and I have been married a while so they wouldn't be like real wedding pictures. Well my friend Emilie at work is an amazing photographer and I told her about the idea and she just thought pictures in the water in wedding dress and all would be a great idea. So we planned on doing them yesterday but the day didn't look to promising. With high hopes the rain turned to sun so we decided to go for it. More like I decided because I really wanted to take them. The water was freezing but jut put a smile on your face and they'll turn out just great. I just got these pics of her blog because I just loved them but I can't wait to see more! I highly highly recommend Emilie because she does amazing, unique work.
